Sermons from June 2019
Peter starts with Luke 7:36-38 and looks at God’s love for the lost, touching on the parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin and the lost son. You’ll be challenged to develop your own relationship with Christ so He can use you to share His love with others, to touch ‘lost lives’.
International speaker Brad Huddleston speaks about Digital Addiction, how it effects our brains and how it is possible to ‘worship’ it and sideline God – the One who is worthy of all our praise. Is Digital technology your idol? Do you have a problem here?
Steve takes us to Psalm 23 where we learn that as we Follow Christ we can trust Him to refresh our souls, to guide us in the right paths, to protect us, to correct us and to give us joy. We are important to Him.
David looks at the Christ we Follow – this glorious, amazing, majestic, limitless, infinite, triumphant, majestic Christ who has chosen to place all His fullness in us who believe in Him. We ‘remember’ Christ and therefore seek to participate with Him in His ministry.
Following Christ may be a costly commitment but we are called to have the mindset of Christ and to walk closely with Him instead of following Him from afar. The great thing is that we don’t have to do this all by ourselves – we have the Holy Spirit indwelling us and leading us!
