Sermons on Love
In this message David expands on the love we see Jesus had with people; a deliberate love, a selfless concern for the welfare of others. Leading to a challenge of how this lives outworks in our own lives and what this sort of love should mean to us as a church.
At this year’s Sunday School Anniversary, David focuses on three important things that we should do as God’s special people – we should love one another, we should apologise or say sorry if we hurt someone or if we hurt God and we should forgive those who hurt us! These things aren’t easy to do but they are part of “Loving God”.
Steve takes another look at loving God; this time comparing the dictionary meaning of love with the Biblical meaning (1 Cor 13) and also looking at the joy that is ours as we Love God.
In the second of our “Vision” messages we look at God’s love for us, to us and through us – touching on Rules v. Relationships and walking humbly with God. We look too at the implications found in Eph 4:17-5:2 that relate to Jesus’ statement that we should “Love one another” .
Keith speaks to us about the love of God and our relationship with Him and the church.
