Sermons on Evangelism
Matt speaks to us from Matthew 25:14-30 – The Parable of the Talents (or Bags of Gold). God gives us all sorts of resources to use, to bring honour to Him. Will you be successful in God’s eyes by using what He has given you? As disciples, we should be investing our talents to make other disciples.
Jonah was sent by God to the lost people of the great city of Nineveh but he refused to go. At first he ran from his responsibilities both to God and to Nineveh. The question that we have to ask ourselves is – “Are we too turning our backs on the lost people whom God would have us speak to?”
Keith tells us that to reach the lost we have to be where they are. Jesus left heaven and came to earth – we have to go out of the church. God can use whatever ability you offer up to Him.
Peter starts with Luke 7:36-38 and looks at God’s love for the lost, touching on the parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin and the lost son. You’ll be challenged to develop your own relationship with Christ so He can use you to share His love with others, to touch ‘lost lives’.
Luke 16:19-31 Pieter talks about Two Families, Two Funerals and Two Futures.
