Sermons by Daniel Larsen
Daniel looks especially at the second half of Ephesians 3 focussing on the immense power of Jesus Christ that works so powerfully within us! That power of course, is for the glory of God and not for our own benefit.
This week we continue with our series on the incarnation looking at how Jesus treated Judas as a model for how we should treat the difficult people in our lives.
Our service for Sunday the 19th of April.
Daniel speaks on the subject “God Speaks” a third time – this time concentrating on God speaking through His Spirit. The Spirit of God assures us, teaches us and intercedes for us! Whether God speaks to us through His Word, His Son or His Spirit (or by some other means), the important thing is our response. Will we keep in step with The Spirit?
In his second message on “God Speaks” Daniel starts off in Heb 1:1-3 reminding us that God speaks powerfully through His Son. He goes through many passages showing us that as we look in Scripture we can see and know God’s guidance for all sorts of situations. We CAN trust God to guide us!
Daniel speaks from Heb 1 and Ex 3 as well as other passages about the various ways that God speaks to us – including through the Bible, through the Son, through the Spirit. Whether it be a voice of command or a still small voice or any other way that God chooses, we need to be ready to listen and to respond!
Using John 10:10 as a starting point, Daniel looks at “fullness of life in Christ”. A full life is not found in seeking an abundance of things or seeking experiences outside of God’s will for us but it’s found in experiencing life God’s way. It’s found “in Christ”. Phil 3:7.
