Our Sunday morning service (9am) is a rich time as we gather to worship, pray and learn about God by hearing what the Bible has to say. We take communion regularly, remembering Jesus’ sacrifice for us. Seeing people take the step of being baptised is a highlight of church life. Children
Children are valued members of our church family, and we make it a priority to make them feel welcome and nurture their spiritual growth. Sunday School Children sit with the adults in the general church service (starting at 9am) until around 10am, when they move to other rooms within the church building for Sunday School. Youth
On a Friday nights during school terms, our high school age youth gather to hang out, have fun and explore who God is. 6:30 – 7:20pm we spend time looking at God’s Word and how it applies to us today. 7:30 – 9:00pm we have a fun, safe and inclusive social space open to anyone of High School age. Adults
Throughout the year, we enjoy connecting with our church community at a variety of social events. We look forward to our annual family camp – a time to get away together, hear from God’s word, worship and enjoy some fun out in nature. In addition, we enjoy taking part in men’s camps and ladies’ conferences, and hear presentations from guests that visit at different times of the year. Community

Joining a Bible study group offers the opportunity to grow in your knowledge and faith, and be encouraged by other Christians as you get to know each other better. Prayer
Prayer is a vital part of church life at Longreach Baptist Church, prayer permeates and underpins everything we do and who we are. We have numerous prayer times and prayer groups, they are a tremendous source of encouragement to us, individually and corporately, as we seek to listen to what God would have to say to us. Calendar/Events
Each week during school terms, the Youth Group meets at the church. Find out about our regular Bible study groups and prayer meetings. We participate in ‘Longreach Churches Together’, which meets on the second Sunday of the month at 6pm in Edkins Park on Galah St.
